Product description

Gond art is a form of painting from folk and tribal art that is practised by Gond tribals in India. They are primarily from Madhya Pradesh but are also found in Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhatisgarh, and Odisha. Gond painting is a famous folk art of the Gond tribal community of central India. The work of Gond artists is rooted in their folk tales and culture, and thus storytelling is a strong element of every painting. Each painting is uniquely hand-painted using organic colours like charcoal, coloured soil, plant sap, mud, flowers, leaves, and even cow dung. It is an Exclusive Show-Piece for your Drawing Room.

• About the painting:

• Lion enjoys prominent status across cultures and symbol of royalty, strength, and savagery. Humans always took pride in comparing themselves with the big cats, lions especially. • Deer is a symbol of gratefulness, kindness, and innocence. • It is believed that seeing a good image brings lots of good luck.

• Feature:

• It comes safely wrapped in bubble wrap in corrugated packaging to protect the painting effectively. Painting comes with a frame. It can be cleaned using a dry or slightly wet cloth.
• Hand-painted by Gond artisans.
