Gond tribes are a group of indigenous peoples of central and south-central India, about two million in number.
They live in the states of Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, and Odisha. The majority speak variously and, in part, the mutually unintelligible language of Gondi, an unwritten language of the Dravidian family. Some Gond has lost their language and speak Hindi, Marathi, or Telugu, depending on which is dominant in their area.
“I just wanted to share a quick note and let you know that you guys do a really good job. I’m glad I decided to work with you. You give employment to tribal peoples and give the opportunity to our tribals to explore their art.
Thanks, Universal Tribes!”
