Gond art is a form of painting from folk and tribal art that is practised by Gond tribals in India. They are primarily from Madhya Pradesh but are also found in Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha. Gond painting is a famous folk art of the Gond tribal community of central India. The work of Gond artists is rooted in their folk tales and culture, and thus storytelling is a strong element of every painting. Each painting is uniquely hand-painted using organic colours like charcoal, coloured soil, plant sap, mud, flowers, leaves, and even cow dung. It is an Exclusive Show-Piece for your Drawing Room.
